My friend
Gives me pleasure
Calls to me in my wake
Beckons me closer
With that oh so addicting pleasure
I answer her call
Reaching for the needle
Hoping to get away from this disease called life
She awards me with ecstasy
And I to her with my soul

As my life slips away
I still crave her
But now I’m dead
And I look
Upon my lifeless body
Blank staring eyes
And i still want her
I slip into the cracks of hell
And the addiction still calls to me
But she no longer answers me please
And I’m stuck
In agony, death, and flames
Wanting
My Friend
